Bert Olio replied to Gus K's discussion Kudos, who gives it and why? in the group Strava Users
"I'm more likely to give a Kudos for a relative beginner earning a bunch of PR's than I am to a fast rider earning a pile of cups. Foul weather, longer than usual rides, insane gradients all go into my reckonings. Personally I'm always…"

Bert Olio replied to Andrew's discussion Belgian (Belgium?) Up? (if thats the term)

Bert Olio replied to Nick Hortovanyi's discussion Checkers & Cork Screw pffft - found a hill too far and steep today
"Mt Alma Rd, off Inman Valley Rd, has a similar profile. 19% for 1.5kms off the top of my head. Extra kicker is it's not wise to use weight weenie tyres as you have to traverse about 500m of gravel to get to the base of the climb, and once you…"
