Am familiar with the term "overtaking without due care". Do not know the related ARR. The Driver's Handbook, published by State Govt, recommends that drivers leave a minimum of one metre when overtaking a cyclist. Austroads 2009 recommends that large vehicles like trucks (omitted public bus) leave a safe distance when overtaking cyclists. In a 60km/h zone this is 1.0 metre.
