Kuwahara Triathlon

Recently rebuilt using mostly NOS (new old stock ) 600 Ultegra group set. Chain rings are Dura-Ace of same period. Eight speed on the 7 speed 600 hub was achieved by using 8 sprockets and spacers from a 9 speed cassette - - same stack height. Correct indexing is given by using 9 speed Dura-Ace down tube shifters and KMC 9sp Super Light chain.
Wheels are made up of 600 Ultegra hubs laced to Velocity Fusion rims, 32H rear and 28H front. Brakes and brake levers are NOS 600 Ultegra.
Tyres are Michelen Pro 3s

Like most good steel frames, this one is a pleasure to ride. Over the past week, I have used this bike exclusively, rather than sharing the work with my Giant TCR2. My aim was to do 150 km on it in a week  Today's ride of 50 km, takes the week's total to 174 km.  ( Two rides of 62 km and one of 50 km ).
