grrr

broken chain spoilt the ride but if I had taken a breath and wiped the chain clean the break was only one link from the joining link ... could have been riding again in 5 mins.
*lesson learnt!*

Grrrr.
I read somewhere that chains were rather integral to the whole riding experience.

I had my own grrrrr yesterday. My daughter wanted to ride up to the playground. I decided to take the bike polo bike and practice trackstands and things. I swung a leg over the saddle, put a foot on one pedal and pushed it right out of the crank - the crank's threading had just completely pulled out, so now I'm up for 'new' cranks on a bike I don't really want to spend any money on.
