Public fresh drinking water in Adelaide for refills

This is public fresh drinking water map. It shows crowd-sourced locations where you can find a water supply to refill your bidons.

It works on sharing public knowledge so if you know of a potable water supply mark it on the map.

Click this link then select edit, choose the blue marker icon and drag it to your location. Click save then done to finalise. This map was created by Google user dbyoutube as a collaborative project.

Thirsty: Campaign for the Provision of Rehydration fluids for Cyclists explores the hypothetical South Australian history based along major developments in bicycle technology. The result was the bidon filling water bubbler pictured above. It is located on the Linear Path near the West End Brewery. It was built as a community project and opened in December 2010.

Here are a couple of worthwhile additions. Belair Nat Park the amenities block on the junction of Melville Gully road and Valley rd. Then in Ironbank, on the church side of the CFS station at the junction of Pole rd and Ironbank rd. Ironbank is from a mains supply BNP is unknown. I have been using both with no ill affect.

There's a water fountain on the cricket oval in Stirling. It's about 10m inside the main gate to the right.
