Holdfast Hill-Billies

A ride in the Adelaide hills starting & finishing in Glenelg (The Buffalo - Cnr of Anzac Highway & Adelphi Tce).  The idea is to build strength & endurance over time. These rides would be on a Saturday morning starting at 7:30 Sharp. Regrouping at designated points if required and regular rides would consist of the following:

Moderate pace, Minimum distance approx 60kms and 3 hour duration. Ride route will be posted midweek on the discussion forum rather than creating an event page & any cancellations notified in advanced. Notice of your intentions if attending, can be posted there.

Expectations:

Riding on the flats approx 27kms/hr +

Norton summit climb approx 25mins  

Bollards Climb approx 36 mins

All riders are required to have a mechanically sound road bike, an approved helmet and should have appropriate insurance. This will not be an organised event, just a regular meeting point for those wishing to join me for a ride in the hills. All South Australian road laws are to be enforced.

Conditions are as follows:

Anyone participating in this ride does so at their own risk of injury, loss of life or damage to property. Therefore having the appropriate insurance is requested.

    Back but for not long, meniscus tear in right knee again (3rd time), i dont think this group will ever get off the ground. I think its time to end it, sorry folks, will re access it if i get to turn the cranks over again.
