What to do with your old chains.

I had to replace my chain on the weekend and I was wondering what I could use the old chain for.

After a bit of contemplation I broke the chain down into its individual components, added some leather lacing and clips I was going to use for some paracord bracelets and came up with the following.

Having made these has anyone got some unwanted used chains?

    This is my Bike chain Bracelet I received a few years ago. After wearing it for a few hours at a time I cannot understand how the ladies and gentlemen walk around with heavy gold chains on their wrist ;)

      make a loop of about 12-13 links, use it as a bottle opener
