Hello Muddies. Please be aware of the works on the Vines Rail Trail. This is a communication from DPTI.

Cyclists using the Coast to Vines Rail Trail should be aware that construction has begun on the McLaren vale Overpass. DPTI's contractor Bardavcol has established a compound at the corner of Victor Harbor Road and Martins Road adjacent to the rail trail.

Major earthworks have started and heavily laden trucks and other vehicles cross the path frequently. Warning signs and orange bunting have been erected on the approach to the site and cyclists are asked to proceed with care.

Project enquiries: If you require further information or would like to discuss the McLaren Vale Overpass please call: 08 8402 1856 – line open 9 am to 5 pm weekdays with voicemail outside of these times. Bardavcol's emergency number is 0400 901 455.
email: DPTI..communityrelations@sa.gov.au

Thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential infrastructure works are carried out.

You going to do Corkscrew Scott?  I'm out of Adelaide at that time so will miss it.  Maybe next year.  I'm yet to do Corkscrew....it's on my bucket list for this year though. :)  Good luck with it!!
