Comment by Rob Pryde on May 16, 2013 at 10:21 Hi guys, time for me to join the muddies. lots of familiar names here. obviously this is where SSRC guys hang out on alternate weekends :-) count me in then.
this weekend looks tempting. haven't been up lofty yet. def on the 'to do' list.
Love to come Adam but not for a while until the legs recover.....
Comment by Patrick O'Kane on May 14, 2013 at 18:17 No problems from me Adam, some beautiful routes through there that I haven't done in far too long.
Comment by Adam Williss on May 14, 2013 at 16:48 Just thought I'd put this out there...
I'll be riding Saturday afternoons or late Sunday mornings for the foreseeable future which means no Muddies for me. However, if anyone wants to change things up a bit, or escape the chill of riding first thing on a very cold morning, I'm happy to take the Muddies touring on some different roads out to Lobethal (for instance).
I'm thinking a start at the Tower Hotel, up Nortons, through "Little Italy" and meander out to Lobethal for coffee, then back. Could build in Deviation, Range Rd, etc. Distance would be fairly similar to what we are used to.
Obviously would have to fit around your racing, etc, but let me know and I can put together a Muddies ride (or just a random) that takes in some different scenery for most of us.
