Yep that has Phil Schleck's name written all over it!

Sounds like a good job for Phil Adam?

@Matt - Depends on whether you like to see pleasure or pain?  I'm a little partial to both!

Seriously, would love for a few people to take photos.  It would be great for all participants to have had a good photo taken of them at some stage.  Plenty of beaut scenery to get in the backdrop.

Anyone got a video camera?  Would be great to see a mountain goat's perspective start last up one of the hills and gradually work their way through the field getting the vision first hand and listening to the muttered curses and strains!

Where do you want me to take photos?

Yeah safe to say that write up does nothing for the confidence, still tossing up whether I should recon some of these or just go in blind...

Thanks Tim - I was looking for "Ridgeland" all in one word.  The strava segment makes it two words...doh!

Here is an updated version already!

Also, if you think it might encourage more participation, please pass on the doc to any friends who may not be members of this site.  And feel free to manipulate the doc and graphs to make it more interweb friendly!

Dirty%20Doz%20Gradient%20Graphs.docx

Hey everyone - have a gander at this doc I created.  Can't seem to put it up on the event page, so hopefully everyone gets to see it here.

Thanks to Marc Durdin who is organising an amazing event in Hobart (Hobart 10,000) - he created a piece of software code that allows the user to graph a strava segment giving a breakdown of gradient.  I've applied it to the hills in the Dirty Dozen (that have a segment) and come up with this.

It felt naked without a bit of a write up on each hill from my perspective, so it had to be done.  I hope that this might encourage a few people sitting on the fence, or who don't know the hills, to join us on what should be some punishing fun!
