I was thinking of giving Educaution a crack this week for training.

I am sure it will be giving a good Educaution as I descended it once and thought what MAD person would ride up it?

Hmm, first-hand experience from Rich and Pat suggests that "Map My Misery" understates the gradient...

Yes indeed Pat... I was just checking the gradient as I don't remember it being easy as 3.5km at 4.6%..  :)  A singled out a 1.8km stretch and got a more accurate figure of 8% avg...  some out of the saddle stuff there but very rewarding to finish. ;)  I'm out for this ride as the wife is having a girly weekend in Melbourne.

'three'.  Hear that? "THREE". three rings=granny gear supremecy. Also been practicing riding off the saddle. bring it on!

It's the 100m @ 20% you need to worry about Pete.

route looks good Pat. Looking forward to Education road. 3.5 km @ 4.6%.

Good point, I often ride back through HC to avoid the Hwy, consider it done. :)

There are some 'interesting' routes through Hallett Cove if youwant to get off Lonsdale as soon as possible after Noarlunga.
