Anyone up for a Superdrome or Edwardstown track night??

Been thinking about having a go on a track either indoors or out and was wondering if anyone fancied it coming along. Was initially thinking if we go up North then could organise a minibus as you use the track bikes I believe.

I am happy to organise but alas I know nothing and need input form you guys to get this of the ground if you want to do it. The GW track night seemed to be a good night :-)

Edwardstown might be more practical.

I know they had a series out there on Friday nights - not sure if it is still going.

check with PACC about using the edwardstown track, not really sure about hiring track bikes though

I haven't forgotten I am waiting to hear back from PACC about the Edwardstown track as that is the obvious choice as it's nearer but if I don't hear anything will be looking at heading up North :-)

OK update on track night!

Edwardstown is a free public track so anyone can just turn up and you would share the track with whoever is there and of course as it is no fottie season it may prove difficult. The option is going through a cycling club who have come and try session but only in the summer.

Superdrome is easier to sort as they run session every friday night from 6-8 and organised by Eddy the coach through cycling SA. It's $15 to attend the session you just to bring your pedals and shoes if you want or alternatively just wear sand shoes (that's what she said) Think the first session you can hire the bike free but subsequant sessions would be $10 to hire a bike.

If anyone wants to go up to the superdrome then we could probably organise car sharing between us. But I guess for us to get there for 5.45 then we need to leave from down south 4.30ish wish I guess for many would be a non startet unless any city workers could go straight from work.

So we can either park the idea for now. If there was enough interest I could see about getting a exclusive session :-)
