Why am I not on this segment?

Rode this segment today and my results aren't showing. Why? How do I fix this? Will they appear later, it would seem the segment was created after I uploaded my ride this arvo.

Baron and another rider are recorded and they weren't earlier. I'm also not shown as being on the ride with them, maybe because i was so slow they were home having a cuppa before I finished. Weird stuff going on in Stravaland.

That happened to me on that segment that got created on Beach Rd recently. I'm guessing they do some background processing to see who has been along the segment in the past - it took 2-3 days to sort it out on that segment. I'd just wait a few days and it'll appear.

perhaps the strava gods have examined your so-called "effort" and determined that it wasn't worthy of inclusion on their prestigious leaderboard? ;)

If you upload before the segment gets created it doesn't count that ride as part of the segment. Only rides done after the segment is created are attributed to the segment.

nah. Iv'e created segments, and usually after a few hours it will populate it from older rides.
eg this taxing segment was created in December.

Hmmmm i had the issue with gs#1 , someone else created the segment but my ride was already uploaded and did not register on the segment
