Received my Tacx Galaxia last week, just set it up which is a relatively short.  It has for those that don't know a series of holes on the underside of the trainer which sets the wheel base of your bike, select your wheel base dimension with a spring loaded bearing pin.  I bought the bolt on accessory to get used to these rollers before removing at a later date. It is of very good quality just like their stands etc, not very loud but i will be doing this in my garage, noise may have been reduced to due to mat underneath. It feels some what like your on the road due to the rocking motion it creates. First spin was only half an hour but i was soaked in sweat when i finished.  I imagine when riding with the front wheel on it will be a little different in terms of the extra resistance  with the weight on the front roller.  All in all very very happy with my purchase, was riding an exercise bike but not the same as this set up, also i wanted it to be hassle free as i only want to just jump on the bike without all the hassle of clamping  a bike into a frame and more importantly the wearing of tyres

All up with the removable front stand $250 delivered

Sounds like a good unit, and a good price too. You have had it for a while now. Have you removed the front bar?
Do the bottom wheels work well, or do you find yourself moving across the floor too much?

I have spent my summer to date, riding on my S.T. Due to a crash in October, but now I'm looking forward to getting back on my rollers, and back out on the road, now my injuries have started to heal.
