Yes I am using one at present. Find it very smooth, once you adapt to the load you get a real good session. Coming of a magnetic one you will have to adjust your goals on gearing and speed. The fluid definitely help you be very honest. A athlete I coach uses a power meter and get stats with heart rate and power close to what she gets on the road using my trainer. You will never go back!!

Agree with everything Murray posted, I use one and find it very useful. Can't say I love it, would much rather have a proper ride but there are times when that isn't possible.

Realise this is an old thread, but thought I'd add that I got one of these a couple of months back and can't agree with the comments more.

Cell have the 2012 model for $175 right now, but when I purchased mine I stumbled upon an option that included a bunch of accessories (mat, riser, sweat net, DVD) for $260 (now $288 @ http://www.cellbikes.com.au/JetBlack-Z1-Fluid-Trainer-with-Smart-Re...).
