I am in for a Bupa ride as an SSRC Group, who wants to come along?

To be honest, ill probably do the bupa. Havent done one before.

2013 BUPA CHALLENGE TOUR - (1) MODBURY to TANUNDA, 127km - EARLY BIRD

Modbury to Tanunda 127km

Individuals capable of riding the distance can register. Registrations close 5:00pm ACST Friday 11 January 2013.

Registrations may be accepted past this date however may incur a late fee.

ENTRY TO THE BUPA CHALLENGE TOUR INCLUDES:

  • An exclusive Bupa Challenge Tour 2013 jersey
  • Bupa Challenge Tour Online Ride Guide with course information
  • Medical support and some mechanical back up
  • Light refreshments at checkpoints along the route
  • Lunch at finish in Tanunda

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • A mechanically sound bike
  • Australian approved helmet in good condition
  • Your own water bottle and any additional snacks you need during the ride
  • A spare tube, pump, puncture repair kit (including tyre levers)
  • Wet weather gear, sunscreen, photo ID and mobile phone or money for a phone call
  • You will need to supply your own security lock/chain, as this is NOT included in your registration. Event organisers will not be responsible for bikes or personal items.

2013 BUPA CHALLENGE TOUR JERSEY All participants must ride in the official 2013 Bupa Challenge Tour jersey.
Jerseys will be the same sizing as the 2011 and 2012 jerseys. A measurement chart can be found on the website.
Jersey sizes may be able to be accommodated until 5pm Friday 9 November 2012.

ENTER A TEAM Groups of 5 or more riders can form a team and have their team name printed on the back of the official event jersey.
Team Captains must register their team name at breakawayseries@tourism.sa.com to receive a unique team code.
Team members will need to enter this code at the time of registration to qualify for the team.
Teams members can choose to start from any of the three distance options, so each member can choose the distance that's right for them.

Team benefits:

  • Your team name is printed onto your Official Bupa Challenge Tour jersey.
  • Teams go into the draw to win Stage 6 Santos Tour Down Under Corporate Hospitality Tickets

Team name cannot exceed 25 characters

How to register a team

  • Team Captains need to register the team name by emailing the name and their contact details to breakawayseries@tourism.sa.com
  • The team captain will then receive a unique team code to pass onto all team members to use when registering
  • Team members simply need to enter the team code and team captains name in the entry form.
  • All team members and team names must be registered by 5pm SA time Monday 22 October 2012 to be eligible.

COACH TRANSFERS Coach Transfers are available for you and your bike one-way or return to help make you day hassle free. Non riders can also book these transfers if required.  Bookings are open now and more information can be found on the website. Coach transfers need to be pre booked.

its like this every year, educ dept rules, every teacher has to do it

Chuck em in the car with our lot, then all four can bug the hell out of Michelle and you get to ride in (relative) piece and quiet
