Welcome to Velogames' Fantasy Giro d'Italia 2013!Is everyone going to gang up on Wiggo, and smash him into oblivion, or is his "marginal gains" (read AICAR) going to lose him so much weight he will literally be blown up the hill without pedalling? Can Hesjedal repeat, will Cadel make up for 2002, will Scarponi really win (not because of DSQ), was Nibali's move to Astana going to net him the trophy? Or will they all be watching each other, and let Gesink ride off into the distance??How many…Continue

And don't give me nice words like ''very'' good.. Put a number on it-How many victories will Sagan get this year?and a supplementary question:How many for Cav?Sagan is already on 3 victories, and has all 4 of Cannondale's podium spots for the year. Cav has 6 wins already, and should have a monster year with the power of OPQ behind him (or in front of him as the case may be)I'll use Cycling Quotient as the arbiter of bragging rights at the…Continue

Comment by Gus K on Monday The first stage of the Tour of California looked really tough. Hot (40c) and some big climbs blew the peloton apart and shunted some big names off the back. It'll be interesting to watch it all. (Daily on SBS at 7am).
Comment by Gus K on May 11, 2013 at 10:59 Chapeau Adam Hansen! What a ride.
Comment by Gus K on May 9, 2013 at 10:23 This is really interesting.
Comment by Dahondude on May 8, 2013 at 3:55 Gosh, how good have the last two stages of the Giro been? Todays final 20 km with the rain, a sketchy descent, DaLuca ripping it up, had me hanging on the edge of my seat. Yesterdays descent to the finish was equally nail biting.
Why can't the Tour de France be like this?
Excellent stuff.
Comment by Dahondude on May 7, 2013 at 18:17 @Gus there's also a dramatic reading of the original version of the letter on which the Cav letter was based. Make sure your kids are in bed before you play it though!
Comment by Dahondude on May 7, 2013 at 18:15 Gold! "bored of ragging you about your squeaky voice and bum-chin-"
He's an easy guy to dislike, but he showed some class yesterday getting across the gap on the climb and then fanging it in for the sprint. The Cadel-o-meter has swung back into the green.
Comment by snappy_don on May 7, 2013 at 16:54 Yahh, damn you Cuddles. Just when I'd gotten bored of ragging you about your squeaky voice and bum-chin- and written you off for being too old- you go and gets me back by ripping up that climb and show every sign of being a big threat.
Sorry mate, my bad.
Comment by Gus K on May 7, 2013 at 16:46 Got it. I was in a boring phone meeting which amplified the fog I could not see the joke for the clouds.
How about that Cadel then!!
Comment by snappy_don on May 7, 2013 at 16:42 I think it works a bit like this:
Gus if you have your head stuck under a rock, which apparently is the majority of this time, we have been *****ing UP in terms of keeping Adelaide Cyclists amusing. I’ve been getting texts on texts about people LITERALLY being so f****ing AWKWARD and so *****ing BORING. If you’re reading this right now and saying to yourself “But oh em gee Snap, I’ve been having so much fun with my website this week!”, then punch yourself in the face right now
This could be the next "Hitler's Bunker"..
My understanding was that he didn't send it all but someone said that he did so it caught on from there.
Could be wrong! Funny though
