The first stage of the Tour of California looked really tough. Hot (40c) and some big climbs blew the peloton apart and shunted some big names off the back. It'll be interesting to watch it all. (Daily on SBS at 7am).

Gosh, how good have the last two stages of the Giro been? Todays final 20 km with the rain, a sketchy descent, DaLuca ripping it up, had me hanging on the edge of my seat. Yesterdays descent to the finish was equally nail biting.
Why can't the Tour de France be like this?

@Gus there's also a dramatic reading of the original version of the letter on which the Cav letter was based. Make sure your kids are in bed before you play it though!

He's an easy guy to dislike, but he showed some class yesterday getting across the gap on the climb and then fanging it in for the sprint. The Cadel-o-meter has swung back into the green.

Yahh, damn you Cuddles. Just when I'd gotten bored of ragging you about your squeaky voice and bum-chin- and written you off for being too old- you go and gets me back by ripping up that climb and show every sign of being a big threat.

My understanding was that he didn't send it all but someone said that he did so it caught on from there.
