cavendish just got ran over by about 3 bikes. Phinney does not look good for the rest of the race.

oh no, Cavendish crashes with Taylor Phinney metres before the finish line. Great win by Matt Goss for the stage win.

Have I missed something with the scoring. If I add up my points I get 267 but the leaderboard has me at 6 (What Mountain?), any thoughts?

Yep remember that well. The one problem that there will be is that Mark Renshaw gets involved in these ;incidents' as it is up to who is stongest on the day to supply a 'lead-out'. If only Renshaw had transferred to Orica GE ! (although Matt Goss was beaten by Cavendish, his day will come.

Gemma. Not to be a 'Party Pooper' but a 'Giro' official actually placed them there as a part of the debrileft on the road. The bottle belongs to Teo Boss who was first to hit the barrieir and whose 'sunnies' I think they are ! I hope the kid ended up with them, personally as he looks like a real Pro fan :)
