Last night I thought I'd have a practice hit-out with the camera before trying to snap the TDU. It was a bit of fun, although obviously mooching around Victoria Park with complete freedom, no barriers, and no crowd, is nothing like the conditions I'll have to deal with in the 'real thing'.

I decided pretty quickly that I'm more interested in showing the speed and atmosphere of the race with some motion blur, rather than the snap frozen type shot which unless the guys are really on the rivet, can look pretty tame.
