So how far do you all commute to work? mine is 12 km each way from walkley heights to the cbd. I love seeing a car on grand junction and then seeing it again when i pass it stuck in a queue on hackney road. Or if i don't feel like battling traffic a calming blast along the linear park is a nice way to start or finish the day.

I have 2 jobs so depending where I am working it is either a 6km or 8 km each way ride. I started off riding once a week back in March, but I now aim for 3-5 times per week. I've clocked up nearly 1600km's in 9 months, so I am pretty pleased with myself!

Just getting started on the bike and have attempted the commute a couple of times.

It's about 21-22km from North Haven to the CBD using either Port Rd or Torrens Rd. Once the other half doesn't need me next to her when she's driving to work (on her L's) I should get a chance to do it more often.

At this stage it's taken about 50 minutes on average with only a couple of hairy moments looking to get across to the right turn lane on Victoria Road to go through Pt Adelaide!!

I ride from Upper Sturt into Currie Street Mon-Fri. The ride in is 18.5kms and home up the freeway is 23.5kms.

I don't mind the heat or cold, but I hate the wind, it always seems to be a head wind.

I ride 17km from Paralowie allong Kings and Bridge Road. Bridge Road is in a terrable condition but the rest of the ride is ok.
About 18km from West Croydon to Tea Tree Gully. Into the wind on the way in, into the wind on the way out.

My daily commute is about 10km from Hallett Cove to Flinders Medical Centre.  Lonsdale Highway - Majors Road - Veloway - South Rd.

I'm starting to take a longer route to work which is via the bike paths through Sheidow Park to the Veloway.  It think this is about 15km.  I've only ridden this home once - at the end of the day I've got jobs waiting so I need to get home!
