Kick stands and a new take on it
There is a nice blog called The Epicurean Cyclist and he also writes the Path Less Travelled blog. He's really in to touring and class stuff.
Here is a new take on the kick stand. Of course you need a kick stand if you have touring or cargo bike because 'tipping the cow' as he refers to laying the bike over is not always ideal.
He proposes a sort of extension pole solution that is placed from the cross bar to the ground because it takes more weight.
