I will be there then I think Stefan.  I was bummed earlier because my boss said he urgently needs me to work on Saturday morning, meaning I will miss the GW ride.  :(  I changed my handlebar stem today, so I am hanging for a ride now.  This might be my saviour! :)

I don't think we are fast. We will go at the slowest riders pace!

If anyone is interested George and I are doing the Lyndoch - Williamstown ride On Sunday. Meeting at Jasper's at 7:30am

I'd be up for any of these, probably the longer the better for training for TDU if you were planning to do it next month.Could I suggest an early morning start 06:30-07:00 on a Sunday after a shorter flat Saturday ride? I realise this would be harder with all the Christmas festivities kicking off.

Hey Pete I'm keen as for any of those rides ;)

I'm keen to try Sedan hill with fresh legs at some stage.

Comment by Pete Roberts on November 23, 2011 at 18:53

Last month was the Grand Slam 5 where many of us climbed the massive Sedan Hill.
Lot's of people said that they wanted to try climbing up Sedan again on fresh legs.

The Problem is, Sedan is in the middle of nowhere, but I have been looking at a few possible routes to give it a go.

Option A:
This is simplest way would be to start and finish from Angaston, riding out and back along Sedan Hill Road. This is a 57-km ride

Option B

Starting from Tanunda, heading up Menglers Hill to Angaston,  then riding out and back along Sedan Hill Road. This is a 87-km ride

Option C

Starting from Nuriootpa, ride out to Stockwell, Truro, to Annadale, then head South to Sedan, and then back to Nuriootpa along Sedan Hill Road. This is a 96-km ride.

I am just looking for expressions of interest at this stage. I have not considered a date as yet, but if your interested, then let me know, and maybe we can make it happen.

Pete.
