Winter
So, how many of you good folk are going to continue riding (for pleasure, not commuting) through Winter or park the bike until the weather warms up and dries out again?
Personally I ride all year round, just that the afternoon rides become night rides and a few more layers of clothes are required. Love riding in the hills on cold misty mornings with the smell of log fires in the air.

Saturday twilight riders go all year round wether its 45c or 0c only rule is if it's raining before start time we don't go, it's not a training ride just a social outing if it starts raining during the ride just suck it up.

you saying that girls don't like riding before the sun is up (without a good reason)?
or are you saying that you're choosing to spend the winter mornings in bed with your woman? (who is, I guess, not going riding before the sun is up)

Dont know about those log fires, its the smoke that leaves me choking unfortunately.....but once you get beyond the hills face zone into the back and beyond doesnt seem to be nearly as much smoke and all is good again :)
