Update, June 28: All the jerseys have been sent out to everyone who ordered. If you have not got yours let me know.
There are some black ones with the red pockets still available - as modeled by that handsome chap below. I have re-ordered the red Adelaide Cyclists jerseys and will be available around the 2nd week of July.
Hi all who ordered some kit. There was about 100 orders and 32 each of the black with red and all red with Adelaide Cyclists across the front so make of that what you will when it comes to the dark vs high viz debate.
The order was place when I closed it off last Thursday and it is due back late next week but depending on the shipping company and customs it will probably be early the week after.
There are some pieces going about already (spotto reports). I pre-ordered some stuff in limited sizes but not nearly enough and the jerseys I did order that were meant to be the black with red patches were incorrectly made and I got all black and all red with black patches. Some of them are available still here, as well as unisex arm warmers.
Yesterday member and photographer Don Brice took shots of the kit with a willing model Erika which I'll share soon and see if there is any interest in more orders.
There are new t-shirts as well for only $22 with free postage for the weekend on all kit.

Yes, I read your AC post on posting elsewhere a photo on your first bike to win sunglasses. Then about 5 winners to go, but do not have a scanner or facebook. No time for the latter when addicted to AC.

First impressions; shows off my six pack well! Plenty of length, great for keeping my bum warm this winter, nice feel, good and fleecy yet light weight and plenty of stretch. Just one thing, dont know if your mum still has her Singer out but I might need to take a tuck in the lower arm area. I have long skinny limbs and they appear a bit lost in the arm holes! (I have to sew up arm warmers so they stay up so this is nothing new!) Maybe for the next batch your Mum might be able to change to a slightly longer elasticated cuff?
Cheers anyway, look forward to seeing them all out there.

Permalink Reply by rossmg on June 15, 2012 at 15:29 Did my work commute last night with my nice brand spanking new fleecy (on the inside) AC jacket - it was a cold night especially on the return leg at post 4am this morning. I stayed warm! Funny about that ;-) Not totally freezing at Kent Town (which I cycle through) - actual temp 9.5DegC, apparent temp 7.3DegC at 4am.
Wore my new AC jacket this morning for tht AC winter Ride #2. Just a hint, it wasn't cold enough to wear the jacket, I reckon anything over 6 or 7 degrees and the jacket will be too warm though I did have 2 layers underneath. But when the rain started in the afternoon the jacket proved it's value, it is waterproof and the rain was consistent for my 60-70 minute ride home.
Agree the jacket is great for showers, but very warm with it's windproofness. So that's why I ordered and prompty recieved the Adelaide Cyclists red winter jersey. Lets the breeze in but keeps you warm with it's fluffiness. Don't forget to tell Gus if you'd like to order one, they are great value for money peeps!

I am going to re order the red one with Adelaide Cyclists across the chest tonight. If you want to put an EOI in on one drop a request in this form but generally I am getting medium to XX Large unless specifically requested.
As for the women's size charts, I have no idea. I didn't really look at them but others have told me it's weird and I've forgotten to clarify. Basically they are on par with usual sizing - perhaps leaning to the smaller medium etc. That being said there are only 2 women's red jacket sizes left. Medium and small.
There are pretty much all sizes in the black and red pocket ones and all red and all black.
