I for one certainly believe one day he will win the TDF, do you agree?

I'd put him on a par with somebody like Brad Wiggens, so definitely somebody for smaller stage races, and a contender for the Grand Tours but, like Wiggo, I suspect will generally find that in the really big races there are always two or three riders just that little bit better.

But then I guess this is one of those times I would love to be wrong :)

The Australian that I am keeping my eye on is Nathan Haas - watching him climb Willunga the first time up was beautiful to see, and the way he beat Bobridge up Arthurs Seat in the Sun Tour was a great bit of riding. I think he has the potential to go a long way.

 

It would seem Cam has now got jack of the watered down Olympic cycling program and put an end to his track career to focus on the road...
