got a photo of the worn cleats?
I will get one shortly and put it on the site, ta
They look like they have a little bit more on them. Newer ones will cleat in and out better but once they're in they'll stay in (until they're really buggered).
The iTB muscle for riders especially gets very tight, try using a roller every day on your legs, my Physio got me one and its helps 100%. What a relieve.
Just lay on the roller on the floor on your side and roll up and down, it hurts a bit at first but you get used to it and hey presto.
In regards to cleats, they look worn and I would replace but that may just be me!
Thanks Frank, yeah i a got roller at home and your right not enjoyable at first! I just seem to get issues on right side of body at present and annoying me no end
Have also started Pilates so hopefully get some benefit.
I think I will get some new cleats on way home as well.
I do Pilates too, made a big difference.
Also went to a physio off waymouth st called Therapia, they do whats called Dry Needleing.
Just like acupuncture but not as many and that helped greatly, helped with knee pain also which came about from the tight ITB.
i use the same cleats, mine are wearing similarly to yours and i still consider them relatively 'new'. i would say, 99%, this has nothing to do with your leg soreness.
one cleat seems to be quite a lot further forward on the shoe than the other - any reason?
i would say looking at it that left foot is uncliped when stopping hence the extra wear. I purchased a set of the cleat cover http://www.bikeexchange.com.au/bike_accessories/shimano/cleats/kool... . Does not ook after the cleats while riding, but does help when having coffee stops etc.
