Website goings on
For those of you who are interested in the workings of the website here are a few coming up feataures in the pipeline by the developers.
Main Page — Over the next several weeks, we'll be introducing a bunch of new features to make your Main Page even more compelling.
Rich Text & Media in all of your Main Page modules
Recent Activity, Blog, and Forum features will support rich text and media. This means that if someone posts a video, you should be able to play it from the Activity Feed. And if someone posts a forum discussion with a photo or hyperlinks, those should appear on the Main Page as well.
Like & Comment on Status, and post a status from the Main Page
The Status feature, which lets members share updates and integrate with third party services like Twitter & Facebook is very popular. We'll continue that momentum by improving Status in 2 ways:
1) Let members post a status from the Main Page
2) Let members comment on and like status posts.
Inline Commenting & liking
We want to take it to the next level and let members comment inline on the Main Page in the Activity Feed and Blog module.
Stuff not by the developers (ie me)
Hopefully some design tweaks coming, mostly a new banner.

Ah, that song makes me want to stab myself in the eye with a pencil.
The Late Show parody ("Accidentally was Released") of this was way better than the original :) Sadly the only youtube version of it has cruddy audio.

Money! No, you're getting me confused with Mark Zuckerburg! No Adelaide Cyclists 'the movie' just yet.
These features are put together by the developers and I can switch them on if I want. These extras they make available are because from mid last year I had to pay for the site which was originally free so it's thanks to the sponsors and people buying tees etc that allow access to this stuff. So be nice to the sponsors...

Generally people send me some info, create the event, feed it up and some picture to go with is a help but generally I'm happy to promote events that have a committed and community pitched aim. There are also some tips for creating events.
