Hi , does any one know if there is water available along the Southern Expressway Veloway (Patrick Yonker) , between Darlington and Mc Laren Vale ?   It would be nice to be able to refill a water bottle sometimes .

I don't think there is anything on the Veloway but at the end when it joins the Coast to Vines track there is a water fountain at the River Road junction at Noarlunga. Other than that there is also a couple in Mclaren Vale.

I haven't seen that one by River road, I will have to check where it is the next time I am there!  I am not aware of any along the Southern Expressway Veloway/Shared bike track at all! That is somewhat disappointing....

There is an "Open Source" water map here on Adelaide Cyclists.

You can find it under the Members pull down menu

The full map if you wish to add info is at Link

Hi Roger , do you know if there is a way of getting this map on Google Maps on my Android Smartphone so I can refer to it on the road .

most shops along maclarenvale are happy to top up your water bottle

if you use the Coast to Vines there is a water fountain on the trail at Old Reynella bus interchange & also between Wheatsheaf & Doctors Rds, in fact Onkaparinga Council has numerous fountains on the trail that were once the old train stations prior to the demise of the rail line

There are a couple on the Coast to vines but that part wasn't in question I think!

as mentioned already, there are no water facilities on the 'veloway' but there are a few options on the 'coast to vines (c2v)' rail trail.
