Right, so after getting caught in the rain twice in as many rides, I thought it might be prudent to ask. Glasses on, or off? It seems to me that there is no winning - glasses on and they fog up and/or get covered in rain, glasses off and you get rain in your eyes! Either way, vision goes down.

Have never been a fan of sticking them in my helmet.

Permalink Reply by heather on July 1, 2012 at 20:35 The design of some helmets with visors keeps the rain off the glasses. Discovered with a new helmet that the visor is too high and does not keep the rain off.

Permalink Reply by Michael Bland on July 1, 2012 at 20:47 I generally keep them on , but if they are fogging excessively ,they go into the jersey pocket and I start squinting . ;~/

However, I have found that a peak fitted to my helmet helps a little to keep the rain off, but as for glasses, unless you have heaps of spare cash to spend on vented Jawbones, which i'm told do well, you will always be fighting a losing battle with fogging.
I wear prescription glasses, but when I fog too much, I have to do with out them. Are wear them backwards, hooked over my ears, resting on my neck...
