Would you please add the photos and locations to the AC group Look For Cyclists under topic How NOT to design for cyclists at http://www.adelaidecyclists.com/group/lookforcyclists/forum/topics/how-not-to-design-for-cyclists Plus a link to your discussion.
Permalink Reply by Peter Baylis on May 15, 2012 at 19:16 I have reported this bollard as well as another one on the linear park track that also lacks reflectors and is made of a dull wood. Hopefully both of these are rectified quickly and might make council think about future ones and maintaining of existing ones
Permalink Reply by heather on May 18, 2012 at 23:30 Scott, I just emailed the Charles Sturt Council and reminded them of the dull wood bollard and fence, that I first reported in May-2011. Noticed on 8-Mar-2012 that not fixed and had been waiting for a photo before reporting again. Thought if two people reporting it now, council might recognise that it is a cycling hazard. I explained that legal bicycle lights can be small and dim, thus harder to see hazards.

Permalink Reply by heather on May 28, 2012 at 19:59 Recent emails between me, Charles Sturt Council and West Torrens Council.
The bollard is on the shared path near Jasmine Grove, Fullham, but in West Torrens rather than Charles Sturt Council. A year ago I reported several hazards on the River Torrens Linear Park to Charles Sturt Ccouncil. Appears that the one item that should have been sent to West Torrens Council got lost among the other items.
Charles Sturt Council sent me an aerial view with the boundary indicated. The bollard is located near the boundary.
