If you are headed down the Veloway early it will pay to keep a look out.
Now there are lots of construction materials such as bunting and star pickets it has given those with less active brain patterns something to do.
This morning some of the rope bunting had been taken down and restrung up zig zagging across the path under the beach rd bridge.
It wasn't hard to see as it had big orange flags on it, but I'm sure its only time before someone removes the flags and strings something up on a blind corner.
There were also a few star pickets pulled up and laying on the path.
Again not hard to see in daylight - but just be careful.

Unfortunately i think this will just be the start of disruptions on the veloway while the duplication works are in place.Might find a different route down south.
Permalink Reply by Wayne Horslen on April 29, 2012 at 7:58 Scott and I had to stop really quickly yesterday as flags were about waist hight and no warning and we only saw them at the last second could been quiet dangerous, I will contact them ask for them to put up some signs on monday
