We will provide performance road bike rental in the Adelaide area for both locals and visitors alike.
Our vision is simple:
We want to connect with cyclists that are looking to hire fantastic bikes to ride on beautiful, easily accessible roads.
We are currently finalising our fleet and product packages but would love to hear from cyclists who are living in or visiting Adelaide so we can fine tune our offering.

this sounds good especially for visitors to s.a over the tour down under.It will also be good for people who have their bikes in for repair/service and don't have a spare.What brands were you thinking of using

We are confirming orders of bikes soon, can't give away names yet but all bikes will be same spec:
Full 'Euro' carbon frame
Shimano Ultegra Di2 groupset
Mavic Aksium Wheelset
Optional upgrades we are looking at are Mavic Cosmic SL Wheelsets

Standard pedals will be Look KEO but we will hold a couple of other options, Shimano & Speedplay are what we are looking at. Would be happy to hear what others are using.
Shoes are one of the few things the rider will need. We won't be able to hold multiple sizes of shoes at launch but this may be something we build up too. Shoes are such a personal thing.
Having travelled all over the world and begged, borrowed or hired bikes we always took our own shoes (and pedals) with us.
Imaging traveling with your bike and all the bits you need, the cost of excess baggage, the stress of whether or not it will be in one peice at the other end?
Then imagine travelling with VELO-PORTE at the other end. Shoes, Knicks, Jersey & Gloves. Done!

In Jan-2013 the Australian Cycling Conference will be held in Adelaide. Early bird tickets available until 1-Nov-2012. www.australiancyclingconference.org
Around Jan-2014 a Velo-city international cycling conference will be held in Adelaide.
Perhaps sound them out for advertising bike hire.
