How do you get onto one of these ?
I guess you could jump over the back like with a penny farthing ?

I hopped on with a running start, followed by a five second climb up the frame. If you don't make it up in time you hop off and start again. At the stops he would either lean against one of us or pull up next to the light post, sometimes he would be forced to lean against a car.
I'm considering building one of my own.
EDIT: They're called tall bikes.

Permalink Reply by Michael Murray on June 11, 2012 at 22:07 I think that's what they used on penny farthings as well

Idiot is not wearing a helmet - it's a legal requirement when skydiving (or dismounting).......just a laugh.

That bike reminds me of trying out my dads when I was a kid. Started by launching off from the garden wall and stopped by falling over.

They are so much fun.
