Anyone making bikes, or designing bikes in Adelaide? Check this out. Treadlie Magazine are putting on a bike show, just hit the link for details. There have to be some unique, bespoke, custom, prototype or experimental bikes out there- I'd love to see some Adelaide representation.

And anyone designing bike racks (for the footpath, not the car) should send me a message- I'm looking for a local David Byrne.

Cheers

Thanks Noel for spotting the 'Made to Measure' bike show. Turned out to be part of a design festival.

Long story short; A mate saw this post, emailed me, I entered my bike and have been one of 20 bikes selected for the festival.

Cheers for that, I would never have spotted it myself.

Congratulations, this is great news. Please keep us all informed on how you go and even if it's just something to put down to experience please post about your bike building. I am positive there are many interested readers.

That's an awesome bike Toni,I wish I could make it to Melbourne to see the show for myself. I'll just have to wait and see the shots from Treadlie...

Good luck with it.

Cheers

Not heading over myself, bike only. I would would be wrapped if it got exposure in Treadlie.

We have an Adelaide-artisan-made bike here which has been in daily use for Twenty years, including trips to Japan and Vietnam. Would it qualify for inclusion ?
Check the link- I think entries have closed for this year. It's more about new designs- it's part of a design festival. Sounds interesting though.
