Some will be just Ac members putting up rides, others organised by various cycling groups. Lasy year was the first year I took off work for the TDU and I rode with different people/groups most days.

Permalink Reply by Gus K on October 22, 2012 at 10:22 Procycling Tours will be offering tours but as an accredited TDU operator so might be a bit different to last year. I'll try and find out more.
As for rides I know there is a Rapha ride every day and the Velominati are offering a ride or two as well.
Apart from rides, which will happen and I'll try and think about which day would make a good possible AC ride unless another group wants to step in and organise one, but what about a meet-up at night at somewhere like the Belgian Beer Cafe or somewhere in Norwood or Henley.
The Velominati ride Gus is talking about will be on Sunday the 20th leaving from Red Berry Espresso in Glenside. We'll head down to tackle Old Willunga hill before coming back through Mylor to the Belgian Beer Cafe for some recovery beverages to get in the mood to watch the pre-TDU crit around Rymill Park. Details below:

Permalink Reply by durian rider on October 22, 2012 at 8:32 With my bike I have watched most of the big bike races from TDF to Roubaix and TDU is HANDS DOWN the best as there is literally hundreds of bunches you can tack on the back of and ride to and from any of the stages.
Most groups leave the city at 8am and ride the main road to the destination. So if its at Crafers/Strath then be at the start of Glen Osmond.
Victor? Cnr south road/sheps hill road.
Barrossa? Cnr Gorge Rd/Stradbroke
