Heading towards the tunnel coming off the veloway and onto C2V at Sheidow Park tonight a MTB fanging round the corner at 30kph or so and not giving way. That's the third rider I've seen in a fortnight doing that, there are two Give Way signs but it seems that's not enough. Maybe riders coming along from Hallett Cove should give way to riders coming down the hill off the Veloway, there is going to be a nasty accident there soon.
Also there was a guy sat on a seat with a clip board who appeared to be counting cyclists, not sure why.

Permalink Reply by Patrick O'Kane on July 31, 2012 at 18:43 I was going slow (as usual) as I'd been stopped by some earth moving equipment crossing the path, I think the first rider was waiting for the crash as his mate hit me but I was riding on the" wrong" side of the path in anticipation. 4-30 isn't a good time to ride, lots of dog walkers about although all were well controlled, just need to educate some bike riders.
We need path designers who actually seriously ride bikes.
