I just came back from watching André Greipel win tonight's stage of the TdF on the big movie screen at Marion Event Cinemas.  I went with a friend and we had the cinema to ourselves.  Apparently there was no-one there at all the last two nights.

Just to let you know, in case you missed out on the news:  The Tour is on every night at Marion and it only costs $10.

I think someone else mentioned this a week or two ago.

It is fantastic to watch it live on the huge screen. :-)

Hopefully more cyclists go to see it, or maybe they will stop doing it in future, as it may not be worth their while paying staff to stay on so late.

Believe once the mountain stages start there should be a larger crowd showing up :)

:-)

i willl probably head there for a look saturday night late buses running

for those non drivers the late night bus leaves marion back into the city at 2.20 and gets to the city at 3 where there is other services running to other parts of adelaide this is only a saturday night thing.I am lucky  mine from the cinema changes to the bus out to my house

Two years ago we had a big night there filling the place more than any other night. Last year Matrk enquired into having the cinema for the Alpe 'dheuz stage and was quoted some huge price so we went to the Mercury.

It'd be nice if they told people.

Are you thinking of organising an AC night for a mountain stage? Would probably need to fit in with a Friday or Saturday for those that work in the morning.

There is already a charity night for the Alpe at the Capri theatre on Goodwood Rd. Check the events page.

Got my tickets yesterday and at that stage they had sold approximately 40. Brett Aitken will be having a chat and I expect I will be  a bit of a drawcard with my newfound celebrity TV status. I can't believe that the guys with cameras did not think it was funny when they asked me to do something and I would ask what my motivation was. I thought I was hilarious. Before anyone lays into me I am joking. A bit.....
