Is this the real future of the bicycle wheel?

I noticed in the video that they are held together with bolts and wing nuts.

Love to see that thing coming down Greenhill Rd!

LOL!

I'd go to the shops on it, but NWDN (No Way Down Nortons).

Hey no more punctures!

Not sure about it taking a tight corner !

I did notice that the bike they are on is a fixie with no brakes

Looks great but on the video it does not look very smooth.

Reminds me a bit of the Michelin Tweel
http://auto.howstuffworks.com/tweel-airless-tire.htm

only if you want a bumpy ride and no grip from the wheels.

how much mud would they fill up with?

If that will be a future, I am gonna sticking with my old one.
It is better to have puncture rather than riding on flowers.

I prefer to have these wheels.

Pretty. Useless.

correct. on both counts.

I reckon that bike would sound like a crane working in a metal scrap yard...youd hear it coming from 10kms away.
