From memory they went to Harvest cafe in Mylor to watch the corresponding stage, which was one of the corner points of the loop around Stirling.
Permalink Reply by Dean Malden on July 18, 2012 at 22:55 Stirling has to be one of the best Loops, I managed to do one loop last year. Plenty of viewing spots, Weather you want them fast slow or see fair bit. From what i remember i met up with ppls in the town village just below Stirling. But im told that the CFS station where they come down the hills is good viewing. For many of reasons. I'm interested in riding up as part of my training for the BUPA
Permalink Reply by Gus K on July 18, 2012 at 23:39 Yes, sounds good. Last year we had a big group ride out to Lobethal then over to Aldgate hosted by Pro-cycling Tours. It was a free ride and they provided drinks and a support car. I think there was about 50. No doubt there will be something like it again this year but as they as an official TDU tour company I'm not sure if they will be hosting a free one.
Book it in and closer to the time the details can be clearer.

Permalink Reply by Martin Turner on July 20, 2012 at 8:50 I suggest you pencil in coffee at my place on each lap of the Stirling circuit.....I'm on the main street. The only downside is the cat 1 climb up the driveway.
