TDU coverage - Sunday's race not live
I don't believe it! If I want to watch the start of the TDU tonight, I either have to go all the way to the city and try and squash in for a 10th row back vantage spot or wait until 10:30pm for a replay of the race. Damn them. Every year I look forward to watching the what ever it's called classic on Sunday on tv live and my day is ruined because I can't even do that now. Bring back SBS for the coverage!

Putting the TDF on late at night in July worked because we aren't riding as much in the middle of winter so sitting up late at night isnt too bad ... well truthfully it still isnt good. I hate theway SBS wont start SA till 30 mins after NSW/Vic.
I dont think channel 9 realise cyclists get up at sparrows fart to go riding in the cool in summer so the idea of putting the TDU on at night is really wrong for the body clocks summer riders.

I am not going to defend channel 9, but my wife and I went into the city last night. We have done it for the last couple of years, and will continue next year. The atmosphere can not be matched in your living room. If you can manage it, its well worth the effort.
