TDU 2013 gear

I'm in the process of designing the Official TDU 2013 merchandise. Been doing it a few years. Anywho, thought of designing a 'willunga hill' style tee and a 'past winners' style tee. I try to design gear that suits a broad cycling demographic. I can never be sure im hitting the mark. I'd just like to know what people think and what they'd like to see as part of the overall look.

Some sort of cute mascot that can also be attached to a bike say on the handle bars.

Something that would appeal to tourists as gifts for the people at home.

I would think most people who are spectators at the tour down-under would not be hard core cyclists even if they would like to think of themselves as hardcore cyclists,

Some sort of devil gear for the hills?

would some sort of polo shirt with maps of the various stages be feasible?

I will make a confession though I have never watched a tour down-under stage I am usualy away from Adelaide at this time.
