So, my wife was getting her nails done by her friend the other day -- a beautician with a salon around the corner from our place in Gawler East. Knowing I shaved my legs for cycling, she offered to wax them. Ow. But she did a great job and she told me that $25 is basically cost-price for men because of the amount of wax required.
When I had wiped the tears from my eyes, I suggested she offer that price for other Gawler Wheelers and Adelaide Cyclists members.
So here's the offer:
$25 for full leg waxing (men, 2 legs)
$15 for half-leg waxing
$20 for full arm waxing
25% discount for first visit
50% off at the 5th treatment + FREE at the 10th treatment.
Give Paula a call on 0430 637 654, or drop an email to pbrennand@live.com.au, and tell her you're a GAWLER WHEELER! Same deal applies to other Adelaide Cyclists members too.

I reckon we should sponsor Richard for a waxing, he would be so well slick he would go from TEC to ride leader.

also applying sun cream, sports tape, things like that.
Of course, if one wore proper clothes while riding a bike, then many of the other things would not/need not apply.

repeated waxing actually weakens the hair follicles and hair will grow back finer and sparser each wax. Eventually many of the follicles simply give up, so you may not have to worry too much about getting it done at all down the track.
