Just a reminder to us all that cycling is for recreation and pleasure. Please don't take it too seriously.

or maybe he still is!

aawww.. he just needed a hug.

I wonder what the sponsors thought?

Following the many responses to the various "social networking" and the Internet, on the expiry of the Belgian championship mountain bike last Sunday, July 22 at Beringen, wants Versluys Pro MTB Team lost like the following.

"The disappointment of leader Kevin Van Hoovels after his arrival at the BK was entirely due to the mechanical problems that he faced in the last round. Contrary to what is claimed it is not a personal attack towards winner Kevin Pauwels. It is nothing to blame. Pauwels was in a two against one situation he perfectly at the tactical level has put into his hand.

In the last two laps of Hoovels chain there are always off, just when he was in the main body of cyclists. In the decisive final sprint everything he shot out of his pedal and then saw as a second Belgian title in the elite pass them by.

Kevin Van Hoovels has respect for all athletes and also for his fellow riders field. No sportsman, however, like losing an important match. His reaction just after the finish is that of a disappointed athlete just after a defeat. It should be in the right perspective to be. Both the management of Versluys MTB Pro Team as Kevin Hoovels want it this way Kevin Pauwels therefore congratulate his second consecutive national title.

Finally, we take all the insults towards the cyclo and statements by others in the movie that is currently circulating the Internet expressly waived. "

Perhaps Dutch people aren't Belgians.

But if Cadell Evans ever dose that I will investigate New Zealand citizenship.

If Pro athletes want to cry is it best done in private?

Will we see any crying at the cycling at the Olympics?

I hope not.

How the hell do the Dutch train for MTB riding anyway?

lol

So you lost a bicycle race, sucks, sucks big time but perhaps a big dose of perspective is needed? maybe a slap with the reality stick?

This will haunt him for the rest of his life, a good lesson for his kids on what not to do.

With that I mean if you must run shimano, this shit will happen.Lol(Its a joke, dont burn me at the stake!)

Thrown all the toys out of the pram now.

The official said it: godverdomme!

Considering how much these guys put into their sport I am surprised it doesnt happen more often, whats the problem here, he's upset, I am sure he got over it.  Probably recovered quicker than the obsessive riders who dont know how to smile when they win.

The roger federer of cycling?
