what is your opinion of this? (snapped by my passenger on the way home tonight at the Castle Plaza bottleneck)
What initially drew my attention was that I couldn't see his (or her) brake lights, because they're obscured by the spare wheels, so I was taking extra care. When we stopped, I saw the "SA - Better by Bike" plate, and thought, can he do that? I thought you could only use these plates if you have a bike carrier attached.
Isn't this breaking all sorts of rules - Worth reporting to constable plod?
At least he was thoughtful enough to put rubber cushioning up for when someone runs up the back of him .
Unfortunately they are not that soft. I left my rear cargo 4WD door open, complete with door mounted spare tyre. Forgot about it unil I absent-mindedly came around the back of the vehicle some time later - thwack - ouch - fudge! Less damage than collecting the bike rack mount with shins though :-O
Shite I believe...just like it is now. Hailing in Stirling and I can barely see the servo across the road from my house.
"...As for the title, .. It isn't directly related to bicycles. If you're not interested, don't click - simple..."
Well, I thought the OP was related to "proper use of a bike number plate" ( if there is such a thing !) and therefore "bike related" - when in fact the main point is the obscured lights, it seems. My point was, that some useful posts may get missed b/c the OP chooses a cryptic or elliptical title. As it is, with that title, I stumbled on the post by accident, when I might have preferred to go there on purpose.
