Hi
I bought one of these from Wiggle:
It has a head that looks like this:
It's probably (almost certainly) user error, but I can't get it to attach to my Schrader valve. It keeps popping off!
Any advice from anyone who has used one?
Thanks

i have exactly the same pump, it has a rotating head. it comes set up as Presta so it needs to be rotated to take schrader
Brett could be right. Some pumps with lever clamps, inside the head is a rubber cyclinder. To make the pump grip the valve stem - you need to get the brass valve stem right inside the rubber cylinder - then raise the clamp. When you raise the clamp, that squashes the rubber against the 5 mm of threaded brass, that's inside the rubber. That forms the seal.
The rubber cylinder, usually the two ends are different. One the opening is narrow so will grip Presta, but Schrader (fatter) wont go in at all. The other the opening is wider so Schrader will go in and grip - but Presta will go in but wont grip.
To change them over = nscrew the end of the pump head (you see the two knurled rings that's why they're there), then out should come this black cylinder of rubber, flip it over & see if that works.
As I say - I dont know this precise model. But several other pumps work that way. So worth trying perhaps.
Good luck.
I guess if your pump is set up for Presta, the Scrader wont even go inside the rubber. See if you can unscrew the end of the head - that is what the two knurled rings are for. If it unscrews, take out the rubber cylinder; flip it over. Hopefully the opening on the other end - will be wide enough to take Schrader.

Maybe I'm just not pushing it on far enough?
I'll try again tomorrow.
