Shimano Custom Fit shoes - is Adelaide fitting available?
According to the Shimano dealer locator (which I'm assuming is correct), no-one in Adelaide has fitting facilities for Shimano CF shoes, although quite a few sell them.
I'll ring around some of the larger local bike stores, but I thought I'd ask whether anyone on the forum has any further information on local fitting. Otherwise, it's something to do when I'm next in Melbourne!

I got some R315's from Super Elliots in town and although they didnt have the facilities on site, I got the impression that for a cost they would be able to have a shimano rep or someone similar come with the goodies.

I might be wrong here, but seem to remember when I was in Bicycle Express a while ago I overheard them telling someone they could fit the Shimano shoes there, worth giving them a call perhaps.

You are correct....I was hunting around for shoes about a month ago, and Bicycle Express said they could provide the custom fit option :)

Yeah, sorry. I contacted Shimano, and as others have said, Bicycle Express is the only place to go in Adelaide.
I haven't made an appointment yet (a Christmas holiday task!), so I'm not sure how much they charge for the service. I imagine it would be more than if you buy the shoes directly from BE.

Thanks, I am estimating around $70-100 for them to custom fit them. But I think it will be worth it. I don't think the savings buying from BE would as good as what I saved getting them online.
