♥Peter♥
He kept my old bike running longer then it may well have and always with . . . For you the $$ will be small he understood it was a matter of keeping it going rather than major overhaul.
I loved sitting in the back room watching him deftly replacing the snapped cables in the blink of an eye and his invaluable advice when I turned up having to ask yet another stupid question.
I write in the past tense as I have a new bike and my almost weekly visits are a thing of the past :(
Might have to pop in with coffee just to check out his latest range (i'm thinking a new commuter but haven't told the husband yet :)

Permalink Reply by Anthony on May 19, 2011 at 17:34 Mark, I realise that this may be a fair hike for you, but I thoroughly recommend Tailwind Cycles at Reynella.
It's a relatively small store, but you get to speak directly to the guy who does all the work on your bike (Nathan - Owner). Nathan is really passionate and knowledgable about the service he provides, and I've always found his work and service to be prompt, efficient and nothing short of first-class!:
Hope this helps!
Permalink Reply by Richard on May 19, 2011 at 18:32 My place. It never lets me down, I know exactly where the mechanic took short cuts and his level of incompetence and I'm cheap.
Mate, cultivate a relationship with your lbs. Good servicing is one of the rewards, cheap advice is another, discounts for being a good user are always a nice surprise.
