my priorities have been knocked right over today, and i'm going to be selling my new pride and joy. i've put it in the classifieds section and if it does sell, i'd love for someone from adelaide cyclists to be the one to have it.
it's a 2011 model avanti quantum team di2(dura ace) it's been ridden an embarassing 98kms and is only a month old. i really dont want to sell it, but there are some expenses coming quite soon that i have to put priority towards.
if anyone is interested in it, i can bring it to work at edwardstown on any day.
i'm after $3999, but will consider respectful offers, nearish the mark.
thanks.

Simon, it's a shame you're having to sell the bike, couldn't you sell the car or the house instead?

i offered to use the bike as a tent mount for temporary accommodation. i was advised that i could get away with a sheet, as there'd only be one person camping in it... not to sure what to make of the suggestion...
kidneys are over-rated, but i like my unscarred torso too much, sadly.
Are you looking for a new residence? If so a fellow cyclist reading this might be looking for a boarder? Be a crying shame to offload your beautiful bike.
Permalink Reply by Dstone on June 29, 2012 at 23:04 Sorry to hear about this Simon I know how excited you were when you picked it up. As someone who can vouch for the stress of spiralling cost of living bills etc i fully sympathise (one of my steel road bikes is going onto the bay soon in anticipation of post winter power bill).
I see you havent ridden it too much but if it does come to selling it still bring it into the store and we will give it a check over service for the next rider.

I can vouch for the awesomeness of this bike. I'd be a very happy man if i owned it! pure bike porn :)
I'm hoping you still have your old bike around the place, as its important to remember "its about the rider, not the bike". Hopefully i'll see you on a future L or P ride mate.
Brilliant - good news
