I hate to bandwagon, but i have Conti GP4000S and reckon they are pretty ace.
I just got a pair of the Conti gp 4000s and I love them!!! Know a few ppl who run shwalbe ultremo and think they are pretty good. I just went from about a 3 year pair of slicks so anything will feel like an improvement for me!
The old tyre debate.
Contis are on sale ATM at Trak cycles at $80 a pair, that's half price.
Ultremo R1 is a out and out track/race tyre and will last 2000 km's approx on the road.
Been there and although very light and give great traction in the dry, have nothing in the wet and tyre wear is huge.
Best of luck through the maze!

The Rubinos give great mileage but im keen to see what other options are out there.Especially puncture protection wise

I love Ultremos, they stick like baby poo to a blanket in all conditions. Just dont over inflate them 95psi front 100 psi rear. Just because they can go higher doesnt mean you should - do you drive your car at 200kph + ? high pressures dont make you go faster and just fatigues the casing. IMHO of course. Have got at least 3k km out of each set.

Have got Vittoria paves on one bike at the moment and they are superb as well.

Vittoria Corsa cx 700x25 will by my next purchase when the Ultremos give up the ghost but they just wont die!

Ouch. Speak to the store you got them from and see what bikebox "the supplier" will do for you.

Already done, replaced no questions asked, the photo speaks a thousand words!

na just two - warranty hopefully

I have heard Gatorskins are pretty good for training

I really really wanted to like Gatorskins. In the end we had a calender up on the workshop wall marking my punctures. The rest of the crew even had a sweep running on my next one! After 5 in a week I switched to Specialized Roubaix Elite aramadillo folding and then nothing no puncture nada. Ended up giving them to a customer who was a big boy and getting slammed, he had nothing since. Kenda Kriterium Endurance is our new puncture resistant tyre of choice. They are wire bead and bit heavy but but I watched someone track stand on a broken bottle in rundle street and nothing. Excellent tyre for commuting and training, have seen them tipped into corners at 60+ kph with no heart ache.

That's odd. I've had a pair of Gators on my training wheels (I've been through 2 rears) for two years and had not a single puncture.
