River Murray Muster
Riding along the SOB this morning, Mike Branson and I bumped into AVO and his merry men just setting out on their EPIC 400-km 'River Murray Muster'
Being such a wicked day (weather wise), I was just wondering if anyone had heard from them ?

Blog coming in a few days. I need some recovery time first, but not so long that I forget how extreme the ride was. My total for 2 days was about 425km, but the distance is only the start of the story. The 47.9C on the Garmin for most of Saturday tells quite a bit more..

Is this trip going to be a regular annual trip considering you called it a muster....some pretty harsh rough looking country out there....hope none of you guys were needing to drink out of the sheep troughs as long stops between water out there. Looking forward to reading the blog.

Rob, I couldn't help thinking what a great weekend it would have been if only the weather had given us a break. At times it was a serious sufferfest, no question, but when it was cooler (dawn and dusk mainly) it was very enjoyable. So yeah, I'd maybe like another shot at it- just not next weekend....
